Kris is a lifelong resident of Kenton County where he grew up in Taylor Mill as the youngest of 9 children. He went on to graduate from Covington Latin School, then Xavier University with a degree in Accounting which has served him well in his family business.

Kris and his wife Lisa are owners of Schneller Plumbing Heating and Air, a business founded in 1928, with offices in Covington and Cincinnati. Kris has been working in the the industry since he was 15 and now oversees a 48 person operation that is continuously growing across the tri-state area.

Kris is currently your Kenton County Judge Executive after previously serving as County Commissioner for District Three. He has been a vocal advocate for lower taxes, smaller government, and holding bureaucracy accountable. During his first term as Judge Executive Kris led the effort to reform the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) Board in conjunction with the General Assembly. He is also a leader in the fight against the Heroin Epidemic that plagues our streets and neighborhoods in Northern Kentucky.

Kris and his wife Lisa are parishioners at St. Joseph’s in Crescent Springs where they live with their 3 children Liz, Ben, and Drew.
